Who Lives Here

Miramont Pointe features an diverse group of residents – from native Oregonians to those born in Scotland or the Philippine Islands and men and women who served in all branches of the military during World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War. Many of our residents have graduated with bachelor’s or master’s degrees from such colleges and universities as The University of Oregon, Oregon State University, The University of Minnesota, Rutgers University, and Washington State University.

Our residents are retired military, sales people, accountants, farmers, ranchers, attorneys, nurses, physicians, journalists, teachers, and engineers – just to name a few. They are dedicated homemakers who have raised their children or have volunteered at hospitals, schools, churches, and civic groups such as the American Red Cross or Girl Scouts of the United States of America. They are men and women who worked in factories and mills, such as Boeing, Techtronix, and Jantzen Sportswear, Inc.

Our residents continue to travel the world, take cruises, spend time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, volunteer, and enjoy hobbies such as painting, golf, gardening, dancing, cards, or camping. Each resident brings his or her own unique experiences to our community – and each and every one help in making Miramont Pointe extraordinary.
