Meetings start with lunch, and are followed by a guest speaker. We have had the privilege of hearing some very interesting guest speakers, including a veteran of the Iraq war and an author who wrote a book about Pearl Harbor. We've also taken a trip to the Oregon Military Museum, shared military trivia and held open forums for sharing and general discussion.

The response to the club has been tremendous! It gives our Veterans a chance to talk with one another, share stories and commemorate a unique time in American history. It is such an honor for us to host the group— it gives us at Miramont Pointe a chance to honor their service to our country. Our residents and guests are so proud of their service, and they share the most amazing stories of courage, valor and commitment.
